Crews are racing to finish the Rim of the World High School remodel. With school starting Aug. 13, the entrance is now getting a major facelift. Windows are being installed, stucco and paint is still being applied, and restrooms are still in the remodel/modernization process.
The school has had two areas with unforeseen conditions and the district worked through change orders to address wood framing repairs and replacement. Contractor cleanup in the interior of the school has begun.
“Construction was originally slated to continue through October and that is still the case,” said Jenny Haberlin, chief business official. “We will have some inconveniences at the start of school for sure.” (Photos by Mike Harris)
