The Running Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Certified Farmers Market and Artisan Faire starts this Saturday, May 2, and runs every Saturday through Sept. 26. Hours for May ONLY are 9 a.m.to noon.

The market is located at 2645 Whispering Pines Drive in Running Springs next to the library.

The May market will be limited to naturally grown fruit and vegetables, microgreens, cage-free eggs, honey, spices, bread, jams, sweets, coffee, dips, food and essential products like face masks and soap.

Visit the Running Springs Farmers Market and Artisan Faire at Farmspread.com for other vendor contact information (some vendors do mail order). The market is preparing to open fully in June, so stay tuned. Many vendors are interested in coming when artists, products, crafts, organizations, events and live music will be reintroduced.

Updates are posted on Facebook and Twitter @RSfarmersmarket or Instagram @RS_farmersmarket.

Some market highlights include one free Mother’s Day gift basket raffle ticket for everyone attending on May 9; and a free ski lift ticket to Snow Valley Mountain Resort with a $25 purchase on the last Saturdays from May through August, as well as every Saturday in September.

Customers are asked to please distance six feet unless they are family or roommates. They should wear face masks or coverings, sanitize or wash their hands and cough or sneeze into their elbow or a tissue and away from products and people. If you are sick, please stay home during this time.
