With Christmas just a week away, the Running Springs area businesses are offering special promotions this weekend to encourage everyone to Shop on Top.


The promotion will take place this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 19 and 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shops on Hilltop Boulevard.


At press time, these were the sales taking place, with more possible.
Jensen’s will be offering their outdoor barbecue on Saturday, with Sunday possible.


Juniper Moon already offers a 10-percent discount for locals but is adding a raffle and a chance to meet two of their artists on Saturday.
Ask at Old Country Coffee Shop about their promotion.


The Cut Above is offering a 10-percent discount on retail items or gift certificates.


Black Dog Shoppe in Green Valley Lake is offering 20 percent off six-packs of wine for locals, food and 10 percent off all Christmas décor, Friday through Sunday,


 In addition to the promotions at brick-and-mortar businesses, there will also be sidewalk vendors set up, including Bridgee’s Brittle, Cotton Baby, JoySoul Creations, Mountain Tops, Pamela’s Unique Art and Gifts, Polliti Kitty.


 Some vendors will be set up in front of Sugar Mountain, where shoppers can find a big variety of candy: Ott of the World Artisan Confections, Nickel Cookies, Woodchuck’s Cotton Candy, Nancy’s Hand-painted Purses and Bags, Olivia’s Tie Dye Clothing and Venus’ Jewelry.


Head to Running Springs this weekend to pick up those last-minute gifts we all find we need!
