The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) mountain maintenance crews are planning to perform multiple maintenance operations at various locations on State Route 330 (SR-330).
On May 17 and 18, SR-330 will be fully closed from the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this time, crews will perform dig outs, delineation repairs, vegetation control, restriping, culvert cleanings, sign and guardrail repairs and more.
At the May Lake Arrowhead Municipal Advisory Council meeting, Jocelyn Whitfield, Caltrans’ manager of government and legislative affairs, called this an “innovative approach” that will allow Caltrans to accomplish several projects with one road closure.
During these closure hours, motorists will need to use State Route 18 (SR-18) or State Route 38 (SR-38) as a detour. The CHP will have units on site to direct motorists.
