Mountain Top Days returned to Running Springs with a parade on Friday night, Aug. 6 that was bigger than ever, followed by the farmers market and games on Saturday. Here is a selection of photos that capture the spirit of the celebration.
Grand Marshal Laura Dyberg waves to the crowd from a Cal Fire engine. Everyone was delighted to see Smokey Bear in the parade. Cheekers invited everyone to the Pine Cone Festival on Oct. 2. The children from Kids Corner, the Mt. Calvary Lutheran preschool, were decked out as dinosaurs. The line dancers from the Golden Oaks danced their way down Hilltop Boulevard to “Achy Breaky Heart.” Scott Richardson entertained the crowd before and during the parade on his high-wheeler.
