Press Release: Karen Wentworth – Mountain Transit

Starting Monday March 6 th , Mountain Transit will begin limited service on both routes 2
and 4 from 10am-4pm.
Service will begin for both routes at 10am at Mountain Transit’s Crestline yard, 621
Forest Shade Road.  Our passengers are welcome to board at the yard at 10am.

Route 4’s first bus will arrive at Jensen’s Market in Running Springs at 10:45am, the
Running Springs MT shelter is not yet accessible.

Drivers will make stops for people walking whenever safe to do so.  Not all stops will be
accessible and route 2 will be unable to service Top Town or VOE until further notice.

We are so happy to be able to help our community get moving again…and the service
will be FREE for the next two weeks!

The service will be unable to adhere to time points, please use your DoubleMap app to
see the buses in real time.

Dial A Ride service will offer limited rides ONLY to seniors or community members with
disabilities and Veterans.
Big Bear is running full service on Blue, Red and Gold routes.
At this time, the Off the Mountain Services for both Rim and Big Bear are still
suspended, however, we hope to have good news about that service soon!
