The Running Springs Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present Mountain Top Days 2025 on Friday, Aug. 1 and Saturday, Aug. 2. This year’s theme, “Still the Gateway,” celebrates the fact that Running Springs, the “Gateway to the San Bernardino Mountains,” survived the Line Fire in September 2024.
Mountain Top Days, a Running Springs community tradition for decades, will begin with the parade – being led by Grand Marshal Dawn Rowe, our county supervisor – on Friday, Aug. 1 at 6:15 p.m. followed by Friday Night Live at The Cut Above and West Coast Vape Shop on Commercial Way.
Friday Night Live will include the music of Dave Bennett, John Golden and Friends, dancing, a beer and wine garden plus food for sale. Many local shops and restaurants along Hilltop Boulevard will offer extended hours and specials on Friday evening.
The fun then continues on Saturday, Aug. 2 with an enhanced farmers market operating from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The chamber’s annual backpack giveaway will also be held on Saturday, Aug. 2 starting at 9 a.m. at the chamber’s booth at the farmers market. Thanks to donations from Mountain Transit plus funding by the chamber, hundreds of backpacks and school supplies will be available for school children visiting Mountain Top Days. Please arrive early as backpacks and school supplies will be available on a first come, first served basis.
In addition to over 50 vendors at the farmers market, Saturday’s Mountain Top Days fun includes family-friendly games and activities such as a watermelon eating contest, an egg toss plus the annual firefighters bucket brigade. These fun activities will begin at 11 a.m.
“Mountain Top Days has been a cherished community tradition for decades,” said Mike Lee, the Mountain Top Days chairman and chamber vice president, “and the chamber looks forward to two great days of fun for both our community members and visitors.”
The chamber wishes to thank Southern California Edison, this year’s presenting sponsor, plus other event sponsors including First Foundation Bank, the Golden Oaks, Old County Coffee Shop, Pali Mountain and Starlight Photography.
Welcoming visitors since 1924, the Running Springs communities are truly the “Gateway to the San Bernardino Mountains.” The Running Springs Area Chamber of Commerce – which serves the Running Springs, Arrowbear and Green Valley Lake communities – is dedicated to promoting the commercial, industrial and civic interests of the Running Springs area.
