Good old Uncle Sam (1) was the first one to roll down the parade route. This year the mean old Grinch (2) garnered the judge’s Humor Award. The judges’ award for Best Musical Float was awarded to the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District (3). The Rim High School cheerleaders (4) were in high spirits at the Dec. 3 parade. Santa and Mrs. Claus (5) arrived courtesy of SkyPark at Santa’s Village. “This was really fun,” said Alma (6). And Raelyn (on the right) commented, “I liked the firefighters because they protect our homes. They are the heroes of the mountain.”
