The Mountain Christian Women’s Fellowship will hold their last afternoon tea of the season on Friday, May 5.

What a crazy last few years for an organization that has met monthly for over 49 years on the mountain. First, there were cancellations because of recurring COVID concerns, then recently the local mountain blizzard.

Church of the Woods has graciously stepped up to offer their facilities after our former Twin Peaks Conference Center location was no longer able to host our monthly brunch. The many loyal volunteers and board members are determined to continue with the wonderful legacy of Mountain Christian Women’s Fellowship.

Mountain Christian Fellowship is an interdenominational group of Christian women dedicated to sharing God’s hope and forgiveness to the women of the mountain.

Mountain local Nichole Briggs is the May speaker who will share her personal journey of how God not only delivers but also restores and heals the broken hearted – “Coming Out of the Dark.”

Music will be provided by Dawn Wisner Johnson, her mother Sharon, daughter Janae and granddaughter Justice.
