The Rim of the World Interpretive Association, the caretakers of Heaps Peak Arboretum, is having its semi-annual native plant sale on Saturday, May 20, at the arboretum.
The line of buyers usually starts to form by 7:30 a.m., and the sale begins at 9:00 a.m. All proceeds are used by ROWIA for the benefit of the arboretum.
The winter storms caused damage at the arboretum.
This year in particular, due to the unprecedented snowfall and the amount of damage incurred by the arboretum, ROWIA is especially in need of your support.
Plants are priced from $5 to $25 and are chosen to thrive in the mountain environment and because they support native wildlife.
