Have you been hungry to get away on a mini vacation but are not yet comfortable with traveling far?
The Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel – which opened last December in Highland – may be just what you are looking for.

The $760 million expansion took three years to complete.

“As we watched Yaamava’ take shape over these last three years,” said San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Chairman Ken Ramirez at the time of the grand opening, “the San Manuel community recognized we were building something special. We can’t wait for our valued casino guests and new visitors to experience all that Yaamava’ has to offer.”

The 17-floor hotel offers 432 rooms that combine traditional, modern and natural touches with luxurious comforts.

Guests can enjoy the services of the spa. Eight private treatment rooms offer massage therapy, facials and other body treatments. Hair and nail services are available at the salon.

Relaxing by the pool is always a good way to spend a few days away from home. Guests can choose from poolside loungers or one of seven private cabanas.

And then there’s the casino! It features the most slots in the West – 6,700+ slot machines. There are also 150 table games and five high-limit rooms.

The resort features six dine-in restaurants; seven fast, casual dining options; and more than 10 bars and lounges, as well as eight retail shops.

The top floor of the hotel tower features an exclusive lounge with indoor and outdoor areas, giving guests sweeping views of the San Bernardino Mountains.

In addition to nightly entertainment, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel plans to add a 2,800-seat theater in the spring.

“In my 30-plus years in the hotel industry,” said Afsi Bird, vice president of hotel operations, “I have never been more excited to open a property than I am Yaamava’ Resort & Casino. With the guidance and support of the Tribe, we are building something truly unique that is rooted in exceptional service and dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests.”
