Members of the Lake Arrowhead Communities Chamber of Commerce have received their ballots to vote for the next board of directors. Completed ballots are due back by Dec. 18; results will be announced by Dec. 29 and the new board members will be seated at the January 2024 board meeting.

There are three incumbents and six new candidates running for the eight seats.

Tricia Dufour

Tricia Dufour

Tricia DuFour, incumbent: DuFour served as chair of the board for five years. She and her husband, David, own Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins. She created the Pine Cone Festival. She believes that business growth is nurtured through community involvement.

Brad Lofland

Brad Lofland, incumbent: Lofland is the assistant general manager and marketing director for SkyPark at Santa’s Village. He is a U.S. Army veteran, having served as a combat medic and paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division.

ken witte

Ken Witte

Ken Witte, incumbent: Witte started the San Bernardino County Economic Development tours in the mountain communities. He is a volunteer for the American Red Cross and chairs the Dam Committee which oversees Papoose Lake dam and MacKay Park. He is also active with Mountain Meals on Wheels, the Elks Lodge and the Twin Peaks Masonic Lodge.

Wayne Austin

Wayne Austin: Since 1988 Austin has been active in various hospitality industry positions on the mountain, including serving as general manager of the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. He is the treasurer of the Blue Jay Jazz Foundation and has been a chamber board member in the past.

derek bobadilla

Derek Bobadilla

Derek Bobadilla: Bobadilla owns Bobadilla Finance Team Home Loans and has been recognized in the Top 10 producing mortgage brokers. In addition to being a mortgage broker, his background includes being a financial advisor; he offers expertise in real estate, investor trends and business development.

sandra koos

Sandra Koos

Sandra Koos: Koos is the co-owner of K&E Promotions, a sales and marketing company. She currently serves as a board member and marketing director of the Rim of the World Historical Society. She has extensive volunteer service with the UCLA Mountain Bruins, Heaps Peak Arboretum, Mountain Jewish Community and the Women’s Club of Lake Arrowhead.

Chad Logan

Chad Logan: The owner of Logan Construction has provided all types and phases of residential, commercial and recreational construction. He also owns Premier Property Maintenance, providing interior and exterior maintenance services that preserve, protect and improve property values. He became known for reconstructing damaged properties following the blizzard.

paul medawar

Paul Medawar

Paul Medawar: Medawar is currently the general manager of the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. His hotel career spans more than 33 years. His practical approach to management focuses on controlling costs, team involvement and guest services.

scott rindenow

Scott Rindenow

Scott Rindenow: Rindenow, who has an extensive background in television news and journalism, is the founder of LakeArrowheadNews.com. He served for 12 years on the Lake Arrowhead Municipal Advisory Council. He is currently spearheading the effort to reopen the section of Highway 173 that is not maintained.
