At the Dec. 20 meeting of the Women’s Club of Lake Arrowhead, Polly Sauer (left) and Linda Miller, co-chairs of the Blue Jay parade, thanked the members of the club for their hard work which helped make the parade a huge success. Sauer asked those who had worked on the parade to stand and explain their tasks, which ranged from striping Highway 189 to dancing in the parade. Many also visited local businesses, offering them the opportunity to be a parade sponsor.
