Mountain Transit has announced a significant upgrade to its service offerings with the introduction of a new live bus tracking system and the launch of the Mountain Transit mobile app, in partnership with GMV Syncromatics. This transformation marks a significant milestone in Mountain Transit’s commitment to enhancing rider experience and operational efficiency.

As part of this transition, Mountain Transit’s current live bus tracking feature will be temporarily unavailable from March 18 to March 31. They appreciate the public’s patience and understanding during this period as they work to bring their riders an enhanced and more reliable live tracking experience.

Developed in collaboration with GMV Syncromatics, a leader in transit technology solutions, the new live bus tracking system promises to deliver real-time bus location updates with greater accuracy and reliability. This state-of-the-art system is designed to keep riders informed and minimize wait times, thereby improving the overall travel experience.

Alongside the upgraded tracking system, Mountain Transit is excited to unveil its brand-new mobile app in April. Available for both Android and iOS devices, this user-friendly app will provide riders with easy access to live bus tracking, route information and schedule updates, all at their fingertips. Designed with the rider in mind, the Mountain Transit mobile app aims to make public transit more accessible and convenient for everyone.

“Our partnership with GMV Syncromatics represents a leap forward in our mission to develop, deliver and promote innovative and sustainable transportation solutions for travel to and around the San Bernardino Mountain region,” said Sandy Benson, general manager of Mountain Transit. “We are committed to continuous improvement and innovation, and this upgrade is just part of that. We look forward to the positive impact it will have on our community and visitors.”
