March 19, 2024

VOE (Disorderly Conduct) VOE School – RP believes a staff member is drunk – RP is trying to keep subject from driving home – subject had the odor of alcohol, slurred speech, swayed when she stood up, was unable to follow command and directions given to her – suspect detained and transported to CDC – cite issued

CRL (Keeping of Property) Mercury Way – RP in Twin Peaks Station – RP wants to turn in rifle due to a restraining order – rifle is at RP’s vehicle located in the front parking lot – surrendered a .22 rifle due to restraining order against him – surrendered per court order – teletype entered

CPP (Death Investigation) Sawpit Canyon Rd – Transfer from Colton Police Department – RP located subject – RP messaged subject at approximately 10:23 a.m. before going down the hill for errands – upon arrival home, it appeared subject had not been up – she went and checked on her and found deceased – coroner released subject to family

March 20, 2024

RSP (Domestic Battery) Polar Dr – Suspect and victim have been married for approximately 35 years – live together – on 3/20/24, suspect and victim were arguing over their money situation and work – during the argument, the victim scratched suspect’s face and suspect shoved the victim down the stairs inside the residence – the victim suffered soreness to her right elbow and a laceration to her right little finger – incident was witnessed by suspect and victim’s adult son

RSP (Death Investigation) Palo Alto Way – 85-year-old male found deceased inside his residence – no signs of foul play – coroner responded to incident location due to medical history – report taken for documentation 

March 21, 2024

LAA (Vandalism) Sunderland Ct – RP is not at incident location, but seen on camera – RP reporting her neighbor destroyed her caution tape and a private property sign which was located on her side of the property line – the total cost of damage was approximately $100.00

CRL (Grand Theft Auto) Wildwood Ln – RP in Twin Peaks Station – RP reports that she gave her 2014 black Ford Fiesta to her brother sometime in March 2024 – RP’s aunt saw subject in Jurupa Valley – subject is transient and frequents Jurupa Valley – RP reported to RP’s aunt and RP’s mother that her vehicle was stolen from a Walgreens in Riverside sometime in February 2024 – teletype entered

TPK (Miscellaneous Incident) Rose Ln – CHP transfer – RP was in a mutual argument with his girlfriend’s friend – couldn’t find his phone – parties separated – RP’s girlfriend was heavily intoxicated and being cared for by subject – RP was upset at girlfriend’s friend because he thought she took the phone – children were being cared for by girlfriend’s friend’s sober husband at residence – report taken for documentation – no evidence of child neglect

CRL (Violation DVRO) Horst Dr – Neighbor’s son yelling and talking to himself – unknown if neighbors are home – deputy contacted suspect yelling outside his parents’ house – parents have an active restraining order against him – suspect had multiple violations on the same restraining order in the past two months – transported to CDC to be booked – probation placed a hold

March 22, 2024

CRL (Vandalism) State Hwy – Sometime between 3/21/24 at 6:00 p.m. and 3/22/24 at 10:30 a.m., unknown subject(s) threw rocks at the business’ windows – broke three windows – RP reviewing video to see if subject(s) were captured – will contact deputy and advise if anyone is seen – unknown cost at this time for replacement

RPS (Violate Court Order) Summit Dr – Subject and RP are in the process of divorce – last night, subject texted RP asking to see their children – RP ignored subject – on 3/22/24, subject texted RP again asking to see the children – he went to the RP’s house and asked to see their children, but the RP refused to allow him inside the residence – RP has DVRO against subject that was not served at the time of this report – RP had a protective order which stated subject was allowed peaceful contact with RP for child exchange – attempted contact with subject at residence provided by RP, but he was not home – spoke with via phone – statement obtained – subject became upset during the phone call and hung up

RIM (Assault) E Blackfoot Trl – RP was assaulted by neighbor at location – declined medical – deputy responded to assault – attempted to make contact at the incident location – as deputy walked to the residence’s door, subject refused to step outside – slammed the door closed – deputy contacted the RP outside of his residence – he stated he was pushed and punched multiple times by subject – a few moments later, deputy returned to subject’s residence and located him outside – subject refused to cooperate and use of force occurred – suspect was arrested and booked into CDC – deputies placed a copy of his citation inside his property

LAA (False Pretense) Sandalwood Dr – RP stated that on 3/15/24, he was looking for a loan and found Lending Club LLC on Facebook – he contacted the number on their page and spoke with a subject who stated they could give him a loan for $3,500.00 at $112 per month for 36 months – RP provided his banking information and subject deposited a total of six checks into his account for various amounts, but RP would need to send money back in gift cards – this occurred between 3/15/24 and 3/21/24 – after making several purchases of gift cards and sending them photos of the back of the cards, he realized it was a scam – RP’s account has been frozen – will be opening a new account on Monday – RP provided screenshots of bank statements showing the deposit checks and purchases of gift cards, along with photos of the checks

CRL (Death Investigation) Basel Dr – 55-year-old found deceased inside residence – appears to be from natural causes

 March 23, 2024

VOE (Driving W/O License) Waters Dr/S State Hwy 138 – Vehicle stopped for no registration – vehicle released to daughter – citation issued

TPK (Vandalism) Sugar Cone Ln – Subject stated he was out of town in Orange County for approximately two weeks – when he returned to the incident location last night, he noticed a rock in the front door near the kitchen – he saw that his kitchen window on the second floor was broken

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) State Hwy 18/Waterman Canyon Rd – RP is at location with “Lexi” who they found on the side of the road – Lexi states her boyfriend (who is armed) dropped her off on the side of the road and abandoned her – at approximately 4:30 p.m., male and female were verbally fighting by Waterman Canyon – both subjects state verbal only – male half states he would be at residence at approximately 8:00 p.m. – advised female of keeping the peace for exchange of property – will separate for the night – report taken for documentation 

March 24, 2024

LAA (Found Property) N State Hwy 173 – Tenant moved out – cleaners found a gun – requesting deputy to pick up – firearm was an imitation CO2 BB gun – two shotgun magazines and shotgun shells recovered for destruction 

ARB (Death Investigation) Arrowbear Dr – Per RP, neighbor who lives at location asked RP to check on her son who is in his 30’s – RP found male not breathing

March 25, 2024

CRL (Burglary) Forest Shade Rd – Between 2/2/24 and 3/25/24, unknown subject(s) entered the residence – the homeowner states no one was given permission to stay at the residence – homeowner was alerted by water company of high water usage and had their contractor check the residence – residence was empty and had damage to the drywall – estimated damage is $800.00 – unable to locate video cameras at location

LAA (Juvenile W/Tobacco) S State Hwy 173 – no report

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Pioneer Camp Rd – Deputy conducted a pedestrian check on a white male adult later identified – during the contact, subject provided deputy with his information – dispatch advised deputy that suspect had a misdemeanor warrant for drugs – deputy cited suspect in the field – he signed promising to appear in court

CRL (P/M/S Danger Weapon) Lake Dr – Suspect arrested and booked on charges 

CRL (False Vehicle Registration) S State Hwy 138/Crestline Rd – Traffic stop on 2015 Dodge Durango for expired registration – after further investigation, deputy determined the driver had false registration – driver was cite-released in the field

LAA (Violation DVRO) Hillside Rd – RP is protected person in a served restraining order – on 3/24/24, the restrained person sent text messages to the RP – deputy attempted contact with subject – no answer – subject lives in Hemet 

RSP (Fraud Use Credit Card) Pinehurst Dr – Unknown subject(s) hacked RP’s Apple Wallet through a phone that was stolen in January – RP has called to cancel most of her credit/debit cards – subject(s) have tried to send money to numerous locations – approximately $18,000.00 – RP will reach out to deputies when she gathers more information – ongoing investigation
