The Blue Jay Jazz Festival kicks off tonight – Thursday, Aug. 22 – with the music of Poncho Sanchez. Before he takes the stage, the local Speakeasy Jazz band will be joined by the Future Generation Jazz scholars. From local talent to an international sensation – the evening will prove to be spectacular.

Then, on Friday, Aug. 23, jazz guitarist Lee Ritenour will be joined by Lake Arrowhead resident and jazz pianist George Whitty.

These two concerts will take place at Tavern Bay Beach Club with gates opening at 4:30 p.m.

The music moves to the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa on Saturday, Aug. 24 with the music of Grammy-winning singer, pianist, composer and music educator John Proulx. He will be joined by the golden-voiced Val Geason. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
