Band performing at outdoor music festival

For the fifth year, the band of musicians known as Soul Biscuit came to play in Green Valley Lake on Aug. 24. Saying they don’t play gigs, they just play for “someone we know,” band leader Ed Diamond added that they “come together to do shows because we enjoy one another’s musicianship.” The eight musicians and three vocalists brought to life the music of Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Lou Rawls, Michael Jackson, the Temptations, George Michael and Tina Turner, among others. Watch for news of their visit next year!
