Two lucky winners will be shopping at Goodwin’s

Members of Soroptimist International of Rim of the World had been selling tickets for two people to win $500 gift cards to shop at Goodwin & Son’s Market. The drawing was held on Nov. 30 at Goodwin’s. Patra Fields (right), the cashier manager at Goodwin’s, drew the two winning tickets. One winner chose to remain anonymous; the other was Paula Marzicola, who had owned Paula’s Restaurant and was delighted to win the gift cards. Fields was joined by Soroptimists Andrea Hilton, Bev Rios, Deborah Fancett, Leah Weiss and Sheila Arnett. Funds raised will be used to support the Soroptimists’ programs including Every Girl Counts, A Walk in the Mountains breast cancer awareness event, the Live Your Dream award, the Violet Richardson award, the Ruby award and high school scholarships.
