On Saturday, Dec. 7, the bell choir from the Lake Arrowhead Community Presbyterian Church traveled to Rancho Cucamonga where they performed their holiday concert at the Northkirk Presbyterian Church. At the end of the concert – which featured holiday songs ranging from “White Christmas” to “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day” – the choir received a standing ovation from the audience. Mountain residents and visitors have the chance to enjoy the free concert this Sunday, Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. at the Lake Arrowhead church, located at 351 Highway 173, just outside Lake Arrowhead Village. As the late Billie Weiss, who directed the choir for decades, always said, “This is our gift to the community.”
