The Galley – the new lakeside restaurant at the Arrowhead Lake Association marina – held a soft opening on Saturday, May 3. As of May 7, it is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Executive Chef Christy Gray (left) has created a delectable menu which currently ranges from smashburgers to a pesto grilled chicken sandwich. She is assisted in the kitchen by lead Jon Pate (right). The Galley will be flying a white flag – visible from out on the lake – when it is open. This new restaurant was developed by Wayne Austin, ALA’s administration supervisor, who calls himself the “administrator of fun.”
