The fair was held on May 21 in the gym at Rim of the World High School. One booth that drew a lot of attention was SkyPark at Santa’s Village where Rebecca Cross (1) was fitting children like Cristina with free bike helmets.

San Bernardino County was there in force – Public Works Solid Waste Management, Transitional Assistance, Behavioral Health, Smiles and Public Health, where Carlos Orozco and Moises Estrada (2) had information on mosquito control.

Teri Ostlie, Jeri Simpson and Suzy Garrett of the Rotary Club of Lake Arrowhead (3) watched as Madison decorated a pot and took home a squash plant.

Dental, vision and diabetes screenings were all available – free of charge – as were physicals for high school athletes. Julie Perkins (4) oversaw the filling out of the intake forms.

Mountain Meals on Wheels (5) was just one of the many local agencies who had information available for attendees. Others present included Mountains Community Hospital, Mountain Transit, Hearts & Lives, How Money Works, Mountain Pregnancy Center, Inland Empire Therapy Dogs, Elite Altitude Training and Rim Family Services, which was training people in the use of Narcan.
