Taking the show on the road

Elderly couple reading newspapers on stage.

Armand LeSage and Mary-Justine Lanyon recently traveled to London where they participated in the Camden Fringe Festival. They performed the short play Minnie & Bert, written by former Lake Arrowhead resident Tom Finnegan, at the Libra Café in Camden Town. They had performed it 14 years ago at a talent festival in Crestline. The play – a conversation between an older couple that runs the gamut from serious to silly to heartwarming – was received enthusiastically with one audience member, studying in London from China, saying it “touched her heart.”
