The 15th annual Lake Arrowhead Brewfest, held on Saturday, Sept. 6 in the big white marquee tent at Lake Arrowhead Village’s lakefront water park., attracted some 2,000 persons during its five-hour-long run (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.). This included brewery workers, participants and volunteers, said Lake Arrowhead Communities Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lori Butler.

Chamber officials said the annual event, previously held at the Tavern Bay Beach Club, was relocated to the Village “because it serves as the central hub and commercial center for the widespread community, offering a convenient and accessible location with the infrastructure to host such an event and attract attendees.”

Participants included 25 breweries and homebrew clubs, including Anaheim’s Brew X Brewery, Bottle Logic Brewing, La Quinta Brewing Company, Campsite Brewing Company, Enegren Brewing Company, Lake Arrowhead Brewing Company, Seek Beer Company, Pro Five Brewing, Karl Strauss Brewing Company, Relentless Brewing, Malibu Brewing, Redlands-based Hanger 24 Craft Brewing, 1886 Brewing, 8 Bit Brewing, Thousand Oaks-based Tarantula Hill Brewing, HopSaint Brewing, Alesmith Brewing Company and the following Home Brew Clubs: The Brew Knights, Brewluminati, Horsethief Brewers Association, Mountain Brew Club, Maltose Falcons, Inland Empire Brewers Homebrew Club, Coachella Homwbrew Club and Best Bud Brewing Supplies. Non-alcoholic beverages were available for minors.

Event sponsors included Lake Arrowhead Communities Chamber of Commerce, Ground Werks Plumbing, SkyPark at Santa’s Village, Dorothy’s at the Lake and Lake Arrowhead Brewing. Tasty Eats were made available by Jetties Waterfront Kitchen, Lakefront Tap Room, Flying Squirrel Market and Buddy’s BBQ.
