But you don’t have to wait until Christmas Day to hear the bells.
The 10 members of the bell choir at the Lake Arrowhead Community Presbyterian Church invite you to their annual holiday concert on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. The choir is under the direction of John Grady.
This free concert – the choir’s gift to the community – will begin with “White Christmas” and conclude with the “Joy to the World.”
In between the ringers will play “I Saw Three Ships,” “Silver Bells,” “Ding Dong, Merrily on High,” “What Child Is This,” “Still, Still, Still,” Festive Dance” and the rousing “I Heard the Bells.” Some songs will be rung on the handbells, others will feature chimes.
Following the concert, there will be a reception with refreshments. Take this opportunity to chat with the ringers about the various techniques they will demonstrate.
The church is located at 351 South State Highway 173, just above the entrance to Lake Arrowhead Village.
