The Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station’s Feast for Families program, now in its 10th year, provided 30 mountain area families in need of help with pre-packaged to-go meals consisting of a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings on Saturday, Dec. 20 at the Twin Peaks Community Center.

Noah said he was hoping to get a superhero toy.
Children of all ages were given toys and got to pick out warm winter clothing and were able to meet Santa Claus. Thanks to the generosity of local volunteers, pre-packaged ham meals were also available.
While only 27 families showed up for the yearly event, Sheriff’s Service Specialist Lyndsi Garrett said that turkey and ham meals would also be available for all 30 families. Volunteers were available to deliver meals to those who didn’t show up at the community center.
Garrett said the meals and toys were donated by the sheriff’s Citizens on Patrol unit as well as the Sherrif’s Employees’ Benefit Association. Others making donations included Redlands-based Faith Electric, Walmart and Whole Foods Market.
