Rim High’s Wind Ensemble participated in a Forum Music Festival last Saturday, April 18th, achieving a Gold rating. This is a first-place ranking that Forum Music indicates that the musicians are among the top 10% in the United States.

Forum Music Festivals provide competitions across California and are paired with national music organizations. The judges this time were Dr. Adam Friedrich of California State University, Long Beach and Dr. Brad Van Patten of Irvine Unified School District.

During each Forum Music Festival, the judges select performers who stand out. This year, they awarded the saxophone section, Brenden Watson and Jaden Martinez, with an Outstanding Musician award. Congratulations to these talented young musicians.
