It’s all about community!

It’s all about community!

Hello Friends!

Welcome to the first-ever home page for The Alpine Mountaineer!

Currently, we are working on a more robust website for your weekly community newspaper. In the meantime, I thought it important to share with you news of our progress.

First, some of you have been visiting the Alpenhorn News’s website, thinking that is our website. It is not us! When the newspaper was sold in April, the previous owner kept the online version of the Alpenhorn News. The newspaper and the old website are now separate businesses.

Our website plans include providing a way for you to view stories from The Alpine Mountaineer and a way for you to share news and photos.

We’ll also offer you a way to sign-up for a subscription to the print edition or renew an existing one. In the meantime, you’ll find on this page a downloadable subscription form to use.

We’re hearing that you love The Alpine Mountaineer, and that we are providing news and features that you enjoy. We hope you’ll continue to share your thoughts about our coverage of the 14 communities that make up our mountain family, and give us ideas of what you’d like to see.

Cheers,
Mike Harris, publisher and editor
