Volunteers clean up the highway

A hearty band of Save Our Forest Association (SOFA) volunteers braved a 37-degree Friday to pick up trash along our scenic Highway 18 between Lake Gregory Drive and Rimforest. More than 20 bags of litter – including plastic bags, bottles, broken auto parts and a broken lawn chair – were collected for Caltrans to discard. Volunteers included (from left) Nancy T, Ray G, Rhonda G, Lori S, Lyn D, Heather S, Scott S and Amy G. Interested in helping? Go to Take Action/Volunteer on SOFA’s website: saveourforestassoc.org.
