Bowler wows crowd with 8-bagger

On Thursday afternoon, Dec. 22, at Rim Bowling & Entertainment Center in Crestline, bowler Steve Collar began his first frame by picking up a 9/1 spare. With his usual style and grace, the 78-year-old thrilled the four-lane crowd when he rolled an 8-bagger – eight strikes in a row – to finish Game One victoriously with a 268 scratch game score. Steve began attending the Rim Lanes Senior League 18 years ago when he was the young guy.
