The slopes are calling
Snow Valley Mountain Resort saw 22 inches of fresh snow fall on its slopes last week. The storm on Thursday, Jan. 5 dropped up to eight inches of snow. And the resort was able to resume snowmaking overnight on Jan. 6.
As Snow Valley celebrates its 85th season, it continues to reduce its carbon footprint while improving its night skiing by expanding the replacement of traditional lighting with the latest LED products. Night skiing and snowboarding until 8 p.m. are offered on select weekends and holidays.
Guests at Snow Valley can enjoy a variety of food and beverages – from made-to-order pizza, smoked beef, pork, chicken, quarter-pound hot dogs and Angus beef burgers – in the Chalet. Out on the deck, guests will be offered a changing menu throughout the season, from brats and burgers to soups and salads. Weather permitting, guests can enjoy barbecue and brews up on the Deer Meadow Grille’s outdoor patio. And the Last Run Lounge offers apres-ski cocktails, fine wines and microbrews.
