The San Bernardino County Library invites residents to the reopening of the Lake Arrowhead branch library on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023. A grand reopening event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with crafts, activities, a balloon artist and more!

Since November 2022, the Lake Arrowhead branch has been closed for this exciting remodel but continued to offer holds pick-up on Tuesday afternoons, operating out of their well-renowned Adventure Truck.

The library is pleased to present new and improved features, including the one-of-a-kind “Enchanted Forest” theme in the children’s area.

During the event, for every 15 items checked out, patrons can earn an incentive and a chance to win a grand prize.

The Lake Arrowhead branch library is located at 27235 Highway 189 in Blue Jay.

At the Nov. 15 meeting of the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, the board authorized the county library to accept a gift of $60,000 from the New Friends of the Lake Arrowhead Branch Library. Those funds were to be used to fund the purchase of technology and equipment – such as new early learning computers, new early learning tablets and other equipment that will enhance customers experience at the newly remodeled library.
