Search warrant leads to arrest for child pornography
Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Twin Peaks Station, began an investigation into a cyber tip reported by an electronic service provider (ESP). The cyber tip contained various images of child pornography. Through investigation, it was determined the ESP account belonged to Jeffrey Russell, 60, of Running Springs.
On Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023, personnel from the Twin Peaks Station, served a search warrant at Russell’s residence in the 30700 block of Knoll View Drive, Running Springs, where he was subsequently arrested.
Russell was booked into the Central Detention Center and charged with PC311.11(A), possession of child pornography; his bail was set at $30,000.
