Local skiers and snowboarders were frustrated – they knew the slopes at Snow Valley Mountain Resort had lots of fresh snow for them to enjoy but they couldn’t get there.
The resort resumed operations on Friday, March 10 for locals. And then, on March 11, Caltrans announced that both Highways 18 and 330 would be open to the general public.
“We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, making sure we’re ready when the time is right,” their notice read. “Products and services will be limited as we continue to ramp up operations. We appreciate your patience and understanding and can’t wait to see you back on the slopes.
“In the meantime, let’s all be kind, smile and give the amazing staff a high-five the next time you see them.”
