Christians on the mountain will have two opportunities to gather at sunrise and celebrate Easter and proclaim “He is risen.”
Ten Lake Arrowhead-area churches invite folks to gather in the Performing Arts Center at Rim of the World High School at 6:30 a.m. for the 41st annual Easter sunrise service.
“We have been monitoring the weather,” said Deter Heuser, spokesman for the event, “and checking out all the traditional outdoor venues. We decided the best plan was to have it inside. We look forward to a warm and wonderful Easter sunrise experience. No need to bring blankets and chairs this year!”
This year’s Easter message will be given by Rob Myer from Engaged to Go Ministries. Music will be provided by Danny Arroyo and the Church of the Woods worship team.

Folks are also invited to gather on the North Shore patio of Lake Gregory at 6:30 a.m. for the community sunrise service.
Representatives from five different Crestline-area churches will share the Easter message. Music will be led by Lexi from Woodlands Bible. The other participating churches are Crestline First Baptist, Lake Gregory Community, Mountain Hope and New Life Community.
Chairs will be provided. Guests should dress warmly as it can get windy by the lake.
