INCIDENT: Possession of Narcotics, Maintaining a Drug House, and Mail Theft

LOCATION: 1500 block E Big Bear Blvd, BigBear City

SUSPECT(S): Katie Cummings, 34 year-old resident of Big Bear City
Terrance Nank, 45 year-old resident of Sugarloaf 

VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On April 6, 2023, at about 2:17 PM, Big Bear deputies assigned to the Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) served a search warrant in the 1500 block of E Big Bear Blvd. The residence recently had calls for service regarding fentanyl overdoses.

During the service of the search warrant, deputies located suspected fentanyl, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia. Additionally, numerous letters, bills, and boxes addressed to numerous other people were located. The letters, bills, and boxes were suspected to have been stolen and MET deputies urge any victims of mail theft to contact the Big Bear Station.

Katie Cummings and Terrance Nank, both residents of the Big Bear community, were arrested at the location and booked into custody at the Big Bear Jail. Cummings was later cite released from custody and has an arraignment hearing scheduled for September 6, 2023. Nank was on active felony probation and a probation hold was placed. Nank’s arraignment hearing is scheduled for May 22, 2023.
