On Friday, April 28, 25 local employers held a job fair to recruit new employees by Center Stage in Lake Arrowhead Village. Most of the summer camps were there recruiting, as well as SkyPark, Lake Gregory Company, Lake Arrowhead Country Club and the Rim school district for all classified jobs, including school bus drivers and substitute teachers. Mountains Community Hospital and restaurants, including the Lakefront Tap Room, McDonald’s and the new Cadillac Cowboy Restaurant, were recruiting for new employees. Hotels, including Lake Arrowhead Resort, UCLA Conference Center and Pine Rose Cabins, had jobs to offer, as well as Arrowhead Docks and Rim Forest Lumber. Sponsored by the Lake Arrowhead Chamber of Commerce and Lake Arrowhead Village, hundreds of people attended the one-day event.
