Mountain Arts Network, the co-op that operates the Lakefront Art Gallery in Lake Arrowhead Village, is planning to have an Artist Street Faire the first Saturday of each month this summer, beginning with Saturday, June 3.
Each first Saturday, the artists will be exhibiting and selling their art along the lakeside, creating a “Parisian sidewalk along the Seine” feel as you visit Lake Arrowhead Village. This event will continue monthly through September.
They invite you to come to the village and meet many of the artists that create their art pieces. There will be paintings in many mediums, including watercolors, oils, acrylic and multi-media of topics that flow from fantasy to realistic. The photographs are of places from around the world and include many local scenes, in many sizes and printed on many mediums.

Handmade items will be showcased in many formats. In the category of jewelry, the artists use many precious stones and metals to create wearable art. The variety of ceramics are a display of vases and more, plus many useful items for the home. The woodworking items also compliment the home as furniture and art pieces. There will also be pieces that don’t easily fit into a category but are for art’s sake. All items on display will be for sale.
These first Saturday Artist Street Faires will showcase for the community and visitors the variety of art that local artists create. Some of these artists also do commission work for a particular location and or subject for individuals; feel free to ask if you want something special for your home. The dates for the street fair are June 3, July 1, August 5 and September 2. The Artist Street Faire is free to attend in Lake Arrowhead Village from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, see their website: mountainartsnetwork.org.
