The Crestline Lions Club – which has been helping the community since its chartering and through the recent blizzard with food and snow shovel giveaways, free food gift certificates, snow clearance and more – has scheduled its annual Memorial Day yard sale, which helps to financially support these community projects.
The club supports local school projects, gives out scholarships to Rim High graduates and supports other nonprofits in the mountain community area, as well as clearing fire hydrants and more.
The Lions yard sale will be held in a new location this year, in Top Town Crestline, in the vacant lot next to Hilltop Liquor, during Memorial Day weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 26, 27 and 28, from 8 a.m. each day.
For those early shoppers, the members will be doing the setup on Thursday afternoon and, if some shoppers want to stop by and buy early before everything is nicely displayed, items will be for sale on Thursday from noon on.
They have all new yard sale items and merchandise. If you have items you would like to donate, bring them to the sale in Top Town, or email President Libby Hayes at [email protected] for more directions. Due to traffic and parking problems at their last yard sale location, they were requested to relocate their sale.
The award-winning Crestline Lions Club is a nonprofit 501c3 service club, a division of Lions International with a focus on eye health and the local community. They meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at Leisure Shores on the shore of Lake Gregory in Crestline for dinner.
