Following an investigation by the sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Division and county Probation Department on Thursday, June 15, an arrest warrant was issued for 62-year-old Mark Harrigan. Subsequently, Harrigan was arrested for his outstanding arrest warrant for Criminal Threats (PC422), Prohibited Person in Possession of Firearms (PC29800(a)(1) and Maintaining/Operating a Drug Residence (HS11366). The 15 firearms were seized for evidence.

Despite no mention of gunshots fired in a sheriff’s press release, a nearby neighbor told the Alpine Mountaineer that she heard two shots fired during the raid.

Anyone with additional information regarding this incident is urged to contact  Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station Deputy Victoria Twardowski at (909) 336-0600 or to call the We-Tip hotline at (800) 78-CRIME (27463) or leave information on the We-Tip website, www.wetip.com.
