Mama’s got a brand-new bag!

There’s nothing like a new – or new to you – purse to make a woman feel extra special.
To help foster that feeling, the Arrowhead Arts Auxiliary is holding its fourth annual purse auction and luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lake Arrowhead Country Club.
Auction items will include fine quality and designer handbags, costume jewelry, hats, scarves, belts, new perfumes and ornate perfume bottles.
Guests will enjoy mandarin chicken salad with pecans and honey dressing, rolls and butter, dessert, coffee, hot tea and iced tea. In addition, there will be what is being called “delightful musical entertainment.”
To place a reservation by credit card (tickets are $45 per person), call Leah Weis at (909) 744-8128. Reservations may also be made by mailing a check, made payable to the Arrowhead Arts Association Auxiliary, to AAA Auxiliary, c/o Leah Weis, P.O. Box 440, Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352.
