Are you a displaced New Englander who is craving a steamed lobster? Or a Californian who just can’t get enough of those luscious crustaceans?
You are in luck!
The Rotary Club of Crestline-Lake Gregory is sponsoring their annual fundraising event, Lobster at the Lake, on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the San Moritz Lodge in Crestline.
The steamed lobsters are coming to Crestline straight from Maine. They will be served with potatoes and salad, prepared under the direction of Chef Fred Keville. Of course, there will be dessert. And beer and wine will be available for purchase.

As if lobster wasn’t enough, the Highland Music Company – the band that has played at the Rotary Club’s Steaks at the Lake earlier this year and at last year’s Lobster at the Lake – returns with their repertoire of classic rock. Be sure to wear your dancing shoes!
There will also be a silent auction, with lots of great prizes donated by local businesses.
Tickets are $60 a person. They are available on the club’s website – www.crestlinerotary.com – at LakeView Realty, at Goodwin & Son’s pop-up market at the former Oak Trunk or from members of the Rotary Club.
Proceeds from the event will benefit local community projects like the backpack giveaway – done in partnership with the Lions Club – the EarlyAct program at Valley of Enchantment Elementary School, the dictionary and thesaurus project and the annual community dinner on Thanksgiving.
