Workers upgrading electrical lines in Crestline.

Southern California has issued this reminder to Crestline residents:

Dear neighbors, as part of our long-term plan to modernize the energy grid, reduce wildfire risk and enhance safety, we will be making electrical upgrades along Manzanita Drive from Hillside Drive to Springy Path in Crestline on Saturday, Oct. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 14.

You may see our crews or approved contractors in your neighborhood. Road closures, overnight work and temporary scheduled outages will be necessary to keep everyone safe.

The ­work timeline and outage duration – which are subject to change due to unforeseen factors or weather conditions – are as follows:

  • Saturday, Oct. 7, approximately 10 p.m. to Sunday, Oct. 8, approximately 12 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 14, approximately 10 p.m. to Sunday, Oct. 15, approximately 12 p.m.
