The Lake Arrowhead Communities Chamber of Commerce is seeking candidates to run for the 2024 board of directors and fill three director roles that expire on Dec. 31, 2023.

Applications must be submitted on or before Friday, Nov. 10 in order to be considered by the nomination committee. Nominees will then be placed on a ballot for vote by chamber members.

Chamber directors are company owners, community stakeholders and business leaders responsible for promoting the chamber’s mission, providing direction and ensuring the chamber’s financial and organizational well-being.

Directors serve one three-year term and attend board meetings on the third Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. They either chair or participate in at least one chamber committee.

In addition, directors stay informed about committee matters and attend the majority of chamber-sponsored events.

As part of their involvement in membership recruitment and retention, directors commit to bringing in a minimum of two new members each year.
