VOE (Driving W/O License) Brookside Rd/S State Hwy 138 – On Tuesday, 12/5/23, at about 8:19 a.m., deputy observed a silver Chevrolet Malibu near the intersection of Brookside Rd and Hwy 138 – the license plate was unreadable; therefore, deputy initiated a traffic stop – vehicle had Arizona plate – deputy contacted driver who identified herself verbally – suspect admitted to having an expired license which was confirmed with record check – suspect pulled into driveway – deputy issued suspect citation for driving without a license – deputy allowed suspect to leave vehicle parked at her residence

CRL (Grand Theft Auto) Lake Dr – RP advising his truck and trailer with Bobcat were stolen – possible timeframe occurred between 10 p.m. and 5:20 a.m. – no one had permission to drive vehicle or to take trailer with Bobcat – items are fully paid off – RP has all keys accounted for – possibly one-quarter tank of gas on truck – Bobcat had full tank of gas – RP advising possible surveillance across street from location – RP will be gathering plate information for all vehicles for deputy – teletype completed

LAA (Adult Protective Services Follow Up) Pioneer Rd – Limited report

LAA (Lost Property) Golden Rule Ln – RP dropped wallet on 11/13/23 – did not realize Real ID had not been picked up – child at school turned it into lost and found – RP checked with principal and front desk – they cannot find ID – teletype entered

RSP (Death Investigation) Oakleaf Dr – RP requesting well check on neighbor who has not been seen in yard for four days, which is uncommon – two days ago subject stopped answering calls and text – known to live alone – recently was sick with COVID – medical advised – Fire is out with confirmed deceased – appeared natural – family arrived to take cat and secure residence

ARB (Fraud Use Credit Card) Arrowbear Dr – RP stated unknown subject(s) used Bank of America EDD debit card – she never had possession of card – EDD mailed out card in November – RP filed claim with Bank – no further details

LAA (DUI Over .08%) S State Hwy 173/N State Hwy 173 – vehicle stopped for unreadable license plate – during investigation driver showed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol – driver admitted to drinking and driving, under Miranda chemical test completed by CHP – vehicle towed – teletype sent

LAA (Vandalism) Voltaire Dr – Unknown subject(s) threw rock at victim’s truck parked in his driveway – rock chipped driver’s side window and side mirror – victim estimated damage to be over $400.00 – area check negative – video surveillance at neighbor’s residence – victim will attempt to obtain and provide for deputy later

LAA (Vehicle Burglary) Arbon Ln – At approximately 4:07 a.m. on 12/8/23 an unknown subject looked into the windows of the victim’s two vehicles parked in their front driveway – subject leaves and comes back a few minutes later – throws a rock through rear driver’s side window of Infiniti sedan – subject stole the victim’s work bag – containing Dell laptop, iPad, iPad stylus – negative serial numbers at time of report – total approximately $2,100.00 of property taken – victim estimated cost to replace window at approximately $750.00 – victim provided surveillance – negative latent prints – subject wore black beanie/face mask, black bottoms, black shirt with red sweatshirt underneath, black gloves, black Nikes

LAA (Vehicle Burglary) Matterhorn Dr – CHP transfer – sometime between 10 p.m. on 12/7/23 and 10 a.m. on 12/8/23 unknown subject(s) entered victims locked vehicle parked in her front driveway – victim’s clear plastic bag containing multiple nursing and state licenses – including victim’s driver’s license, Bank of America debit card, and Citi card – victim’s cards were used at Target, Rite Aid, and Stater Bros in the San Bernardino and Colton area early in the morning of 12/8/23 – Rite Aid manager provided surveillance of subject attempting to use victim’s card – subject matches description of subject from another vehicle burglary in same area – deputy will follow up with other store locations – negative surveillance at victim’s home – negative latent prints – victim will provide more information from banks regarding transactions once received – no further information

TPK (290 Register) Twin Peaks Station – No report

BLU (Grand Theft Auto) State Hwy 189 – On 12/08/23 at approximately 4:20 a.m. unknown subjects were captured on video taking two box trailers from business without permission – subjects drove a white pickup truck and black Chevy SUV – teletype sent

CRL (Possession of Danger Drugs) Lake Dr/Wildrose Ln – No report

VOE (Assault) Waters Dr – RP’s mother was attacked by neighbor – after an argument suspect grabbed a rock and pushed RP’s mother down – rock hit her in the chest – suspect fled after incident and ran inside her own home – subject refused medical – victim signed citizen’s arrest form – suspect was site released in field

SIL (Missing Person) Silverwood Lake – RP was contacted by rangers in the last hour about someone yelling/screaming in area – RP is out with a boat and small dog – there is wallet, cell phone and fishing rod on shore – RP and his friend are in the first entrance to the lake – advising Silverwood park rangers also – per Silverwood Lake they will send out a unit to handle – will call back if deputies needed – 40King unable to handle – requesting call from dive team – deputy to make contact with subject in Barstow to find out if he knows anything about boat being left at lake – park rangers are checking lake for subject – unable to locate – dive time will respond tomorrow after 8 a.m.

SIL (Miscellaneous Incident) Silverwood Lake – Reference previous incident – kayak and vehicle released to son on scene – will resume search tomorrow

RSP (Domestic Battery) Fredalba Rd/Winding Way – Information from Colton PD – received open line from 9-1-1 – female screaming – stated male was hitting her – hung up – upon callback received voicemail – left message – conducting area check – no answer at front door – no flag down – sent RP a text – shows as delivered – fighting inside – medical declined – no further information

LAA (Warrant Arrest) State Hwy 18 – Vehicle stopped for tail light out and expired registration – driver found to have outstanding misdemeanor warrant – driver arrested and booked at CDC

CRL (Paraphernalia) Lake Dr/Pioneer Camp Rd – Limited report – arrest made

CRL (Under Influence Drugs) Arth Dr – Occurred in the driveway – RP said that his oldest son, white male adult, just crashed into her other son’s vehicle in the driveway – male was on methamphetamine – in the residence now – RP said the son who owns other vehicle was with his brother in town – was kicked out of vehicle – is walking home – vehicle has damage – arrest made

CRL (Vandalism) Crest Forest Dr – From 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. unknown subject(s) smashed two separate vehicle windows – RP noticed her Jeep’s front passenger window smashed – RP called law enforcement and looked for cameras – second victim arrived and noticed her driver’s window was smashed on her Scion – approximately two parking spaces to the east – doors locked, nothing taken, no physical evidence left – negative video or witness – negative suspect – area check negative for any additional vehicles

VOE (Paraphernalia) Valley Ct/Valley Rd– Deputy conducted a traffic stop for traffic violations – suspect was found to have misdemeanor warrant – suspect was patted down and admitted to having glass pipe on his person in his jacket pocket – pipe contained white and brown residue consistent with methamphetamine use – suspect was arrested for his drug charge – released in field

BLU (Elderly Abuse) Pine Ln – RP says her son stole her vehicle – last seen yesterday – RP did not know her plate number – subject lives on location with mother – did not have permission to drive vehicle – RP has not seen subject today – RP received notification of suspicious activity on her Arrowhead Credit Union account – is missing money from account – money has been withdrawn from High Desert – RP has canceled her Arrowhead card which is missing

CPP (P/M/S Danger Weapon) Ridge Dr – RP found explosives inside suitcase – RP buys storage units – when he looked inside the suitcase he found a block of explosives with a timer on it – the subject that owned the suitcase was a survivalist – at Mountain Storage – RP doesn’t remember space number – RP removed the suitcase about a week ago when he bought the items in the unit – owner died about five months ago – was a resident of Cedarpines Park – advising fire department – fire will be staged at Station 24 – have the bomb squad en route – will be setting up a 100-foot perimeter – evacuating residents now – device rendered safe

CRL (P/M/S Danger Weapon) Sleepy Hollow Motel – Limited report – arrest made – transported without incident

LAA (Keeping of Property) Crown Dr RP in Twin Peaks Station lobby – a guest of one of RP’s short-term rental left a firearm at the property – RP is turning it over for Sheriff’s Department to handle – belongs to known subject – Sig Sauer 9mm – RP works for Avant Stay – owner of weapon departed Saturday – the owner called and states he left his firearm
