December 19, 2023

LAA (Miscellaneous Incident) North Bay Rd – Transfer from CHP – RP’s phone signal very bad – hard to hear RP – says she was just attacked by boyfriend and he is upstairs with landlord – RP says he slapped her in the face – negative weapons – negative drunk or high – says male tried to throw RP down the stairs – says landlord lives on upper floor of location – medical denied – RP advising she lives on ground floor of location – RP’s statements were inconsistent – no injuries or redness of face – RP said she bruised easily – no marks anywhere she indicated male grabbed her – male said he was at neighbor’s to avoid RP because of her drinking and RP came pounding on neighbor’s door twice – male admitted he grabbed RP’s shirt to try and get her away from neighbor’s door which she would not do – neighbor said he thought RP was trying to storm into his residence – male said he never slapped RP but grabbed her glasses and threw them in spontaneous effort to get her to leave and stop screaming – male will seek registered owner today and stay with neighbor – RP going to work – documenting incident for simple pushing and grabbing – neighbor said he did not see male do anything but grab RP to get her away from door

CRL (Elderly Abuse) Bernard Dr – Subject is RP’s roommate -subject has been living upstairs for a few years – subject needs to make calls on her cellphone which RP pays for – subject accidentally erased her phone – subject asked to use RP’s – RP refused to allow her to use his phone – subject became upset and threw her phone at the RP in anger striking him in the upper lip – RP sustained a laceration to his upper lip but declined medical attention – RP is 77 years old – RP desired prosecution of elder abuse against subject – citizen’s arrest was signed by RP – area check came back negative for subject – RP was advised to call law enforcement if she returns today

CRL (Sex-Offender Register) S Dart Canyon Rd- Confirmed subject is no longer in jurisdiction – he moved to Riverside County – report taken for documentation

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Summit Dr – Subject was cited and released in the field

RSP (Adult Protective Services) State Hwy 18 – Adult Protective Services requesting wellness check on male subject – male reported to client services he is starving and out of food – client is disabled, housebound and lives alone – subject needs help with CalFresh benefits – deputy spoke with subject inside residence – subject has water, electricity, food and heat – subject is seen on a regular basis by home health nurse

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Lake Gregory Dr – Vehicle stopped for lights being out – subject was issued citation for violation – subject’s passenger had an out-of-county warrant – passenger was booked at CDC on warrant

ARB (False Pretense) Hilltop Blvd – Unknown subject called victim on his work phone claiming to be his manager – the subject knew the victim and manager’s name – the subject later called the victim on his personal cell and told him the business needed $20,000.00 – needed money for a time extension – victim sent $1,200.00 of his own money via Bitcoin to unknown subject – subject then told victim to break down office door to get to safe and take money out of safe to send via Bitcoin – victim was able to contact real manager who informed him it was a scam – will continue with investigation

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) Lake Gregory Dr – Subject one and subject two are married and live together at incident location – subject one was home alone with their infant son – at approximately 1:00 a.m. subject one slipped and fell onto a knife which was on the counter – subject one was doing dishes and said he slipped on water on floor – subject one claims subject two and his mother-in-law were at the bar during incident – all parties were unforthcoming with truth and shared same story

CRL (Found Property) Lake Dr – iPhone found at bank approximately one month ago – phone was never claimed – phone is locked but will charge further in attempt to locate owner – will enter into Twin Peaks station property and evidence for found property

CRL (Grand Theft Auto) Scenic Dr – Deputy spoke with RP via telephone – vehicle was stolen from property on 12/19/23 – no one had permission to take vehicle – vehicle keys were inside of residence – vehicle was parked in front of residence – teletype entered

CRL (Driving on Suspended License) Fern Dr/Big Oak Rd – stopped vehicle for being unregistered – records check for driver showed subject was driving with a suspended license – subject was cited and released in the field

RSP (Vandalism) Wagon Wheel Dr  – RP is realtor for homeowner – RP hired subjects to do work for her at home on Wagon Wheel – homeowner is out of state – while she was gone, RP says subjects moved in without permission – subjects were eventually made to leave by Twin Peaks Sheriff Station deputies – RP inspected home and found multiple areas of damage – property belonging to subjects was left all over interior and exterior of home needing removal – RP will be at home tomorrow and provided contact to send pictures of inside damage – left voicemail for homeowner – will return with her statement

December 22, 2023

LAA (Drunk in Public) Zion Dr – Suspect is outside yelling and trying to fight people – negative weapons – suspect has been drinking – suspect has history of suicidal ideation – suspect has been diagnosed with depression and is current with meds – suspect is talking to himself and banging on windows – RP is at Airbnb and scared that he is going do something to them or jump off deck – RP states suspect stopped drinking approximately two hours ago – male is still screaming – unknown what set male off – male flipped patio table over – RP believes suspect will cooperate with deputies – RP does not see deputies yet – contacted suspect on back of porch of incident location – suspect was yelling obscenities and flipping patio furniture – during contact with suspect he showed objective signs and symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol – arrest made

CRL (Spouse Abuse) Zurich Dr – Suspect assaulted RP six months ago – RP requesting a report be taken – some bruising when this occurred – no photos – RP wasn’t transported – arrest made

CRL (Driving with Suspended License) Lake Dr/Lake Gregory Dr – Vehicle was stopped for speeding – subject was found to have suspended license – subject was cited – vehicle was released to licensed passenger

LAA (Petty Theft) Stater Bros – on 12/23/23 between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. unknown subject stole RP’s backpack from his vehicle – RP unsure if vehicle was locked – no signs of forced entry in vehicle – RP states driver’s side door was slightly open when he returned to vehicle – did not think anything of it – RP drove home, then noticed backpack was missing – nothing else missing

 December 23, 2023

CRL (Land Trespass) Playground Dr – Ongoing civil issues over property lines between RP – today neighbor and subject removed gravel and wooden posts – RP has video of subject sitting on their driveway past survey post refusing to leave – subject admitted to it and was cited – advised subject to stay away from survey post and left area – advised both of options

LAA (Adult Protective Services) Arbon Ln – Subject did not remember why she called law enforcement – deputy spoke with subject at length – subject told deputy she did not have a ride to the pharmacy for her pain medication – deputy called Rite Aid where they told deputy medication was ready – deputy went to Rite Aid to pick up medication – deputy took it back to subject – Adult Protective Services was notified

CPP (Animal Problem) Crest Forest Dr – Small coyote was found along fence line of RP’s property – animal found with mange, having trouble breathing, extremely skinny, near death – animal was dispatched and buried on property – deputies attempted prior notifications with game warden and fish and game with voicemails left – follow-up will be made with both agencies

VOE (Tow Request) Valley Rd/Valley Ct – Vehicle was driving with trailer having no lights or license plate – vehicle stopped – found to be expired over three years and no plates – driver unlicensed, no insurance – driver cited – vehicle towed – trailer will be picked up by subject and owner later this morning – passenger detained, identified and released – vehicle towed by Bill and Wags out of Redlands – teletype sent

CRL (Violating Court Order) Lake Dr – On 12/24/23 RP arrived at incident location to pick up son per court order – RP called subject to let her know he was at incident location – subject told RP she was not going to relinquish custody of child due to child having COVID – deputy advised subject if she did not relinquish custody of child she would be in violation of court order and would be named a suspect in a criminal report – subject told deputy to do what he had to do – she would not give up child due to child being in quarantine

RSP (Traffic Pursuit) State Hwy 18/Running Springs – limited report

VOE (Elderly Abuse) Redwood Way – On 12/24/23 suspect allegedly took copious amounts of medication and went into psychosis – she did not remember anything – during episode she grabbed her stepmother by the arm – suspect dragged her outside and down a flight of stairs – victim suffered a large bruise to her right wrist as a result of being pulled – later that day victim stopped suspect from giving all her personal information to unknown person over the phone – one hour before victim called law enforcement, suspect dragged victim by hair from living room and back into bedroom – suspect forced victim to stay in bedroom saying victim was “being bad” – suspect was arrested

LAA (Animal Problem) N Old Toll Rd – At approximately 7:40 p.m. subject walked upstairs to go lie with dog – while subject lay on floor, dog bit him once in the face – dog latched on to subject’s face – subject was unable to yell – subject managed to separate himself from dog – subject walked down stairs to notify father – father took dog outside to separate from family – states he is going to return dog to shelter – states he had dog six months – subject received fractures on his face due to incident

CRL (Driving Without License) Lake Dr/Knapps CTF – Limited report

CRL (Paraphenalia) Lake Dr/Forest Shade Rd – Limited report

BLU (Attempted Suicide) Meadow Brook Rd – Subject got a call today from his wife while at a 30-day rehab that she was leaving him – subject attempted suicide – staff members found him while doing hourly observation logs – subject was transported to Mountains Community Hospital by County Fire to be treated medically 

CPP (Spouse Abuse) Big Deer Rd – At approximately 7:43 p.m. call for male and female arguing aired – when deputy arrived on scene, male half was gone – female stated it was verbal only – no physical altercation between her and male subject – at approximately 8:55 p.m. male half called stating he and girlfriend were in argument and she hit him once with a taser bat – male half had a single mark on lower left torso – when deputy returned to incident location female was gone – neighbor heard argument and saw arcing from taser – then heard male half leave – confirmed male never returned to incident location after altercation 

LAA (Vandalism) State Hwy 18 Unknown subject hit display window on business – shattering window – appeared to be blunt object – no entry into store – no other damage seen – deputy will follow up with Village for video at later time

CPP (Warrant Arrest) Spring Dr – suspect outside his residence yelling profanities – no other voices heard – negative clothing description – RP believes he has mental disorders, unknown what – advising of ongoing issues with male and restraining order – male has not come to incident location to violate restraining order – suspect yelling was found to have felony in-county warrant – male was arrested and booked at CDC
