The holidays may be over, but the fun is just getting started at SkyPark at Santa’s Village.

Starting on Jan. 11, it’s a Winter Wonderland at the park with outdoor advenetures, seasonal characters, special entertainment, food and beverage specials and more.

Admission to SkyPark at Santa’s Village includes activities such as ice skating, rock climbing, ax throwing, pedal cars, the NorthWoods Express Train ride and special Winter Wonderland offerings. And when Mother Nature brings fresh snow to the park, snow play activities like sledding and snowshoeing will be available, weather permitting.

Have you met Princess Snowfall? She is the daughter of King Crispin and Queen Iclyn Frost. She and her brother, Jack Frost, only appear in the village during the coldest months of the year when the weather is perfect for snow.

Can you help Princess Snowfall find the lost magic snow crystals? Without the magic snow crystals, the winter princess cannot create the storms in the NorthWoods which provide water to the trees and help quench the thirst of all the animals.

To participate, pick up a game card in the Admissions building when you enter the park. Follow the clues and search the village for the missing snowflakes. If you can complete your quest, you’ll receive a special surprise!

Every Saturday from Jan. 13 to Feb. 24, guests are invited to bundle up and join the ice-skating party at the Silver Bells arena from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Each Skate Night has a different theme, so check the schedule and dress accordingly! Ice skate rentals are included with monthly and annual passes. Thick socks are recommended. Guests are also welcome to bring their own ice skates.

For guests who are not monthly or annual passholders, Skate Night-only tickets are available at the door starting at 3 p.m. for $20 each. Please note that Skate Night-only tickets do not include other park activities. All ice skating and skate nights events are dependent on the weather and are subject to change without notice.

The Skate Night themes and suggested attire are as follows:

• Jan. 13: Winter Wonderland – Old Hollywood – white, silver and blue clothing

• Jan. 20: Snow Ball – Rock ‘n Roll – fantasy attire (fairies and elves)

• Jan. 27: Glow Skate – Electronic Dance Music – neo colors, glow-in-the-dark accessories

• Feb. 3: Arctic – 80s – 80s attire

• Feb. 10: Date Night Skate Night – Valentine’s Day playlist – hearts and flowers

• Feb. 17: Peppermint Party – 90s – red and white clothing

• Feb. 24: Northern Lights – Disco – disco attire

Silver Bells arena is an outdoor skating rink, which means that it can get very cold on the ice. Please plan ahead for freezing temperatures. Gloves, scarves and hats are highly recommended.

The park’s hours from Jan. 11 through March 10 are: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays – closed; Thursdays and Fridays – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
