California residents: You have a chance to make history – Caltrans needs your help naming its snowplows!

Adults and children age 5 and older are invited to submit fun, creative names with the chance to win up to $150 in gift cards. One winner will be selected from each of Caltrans’ 11 districts. An additional statewide grand prize will be selected from the winning submissions.

Each district winner will receive a $50 gift card. If the grand prize winner is an adult, that person will receive a $100 gift card. If a student in kindergarten through 12th grade is the grand prize winner, that classroom will also receive a $100 gift card.

Prizes are being provided courtesy of iHeartMedia.

Names are limited to no more than 20 characters, including letters and spaces. All submissions become the property of Caltrans and the Office of Traffic Safety.

Submissions must be received by Feb. 15. Winners will be announced on March 4.

To enter, visit gosafelyca.org/languageselect and click on either “English” or “Español.”
