It’s membership renewal time at Leisure Shores. Membership in the Crest Forest Senior Citizens’ Club is open to everyone aged 50 and over and costs only $20 per year.

There are a wide variety of groups and activities available, as well as the monthly membership luncheon. Stop by the office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a tour and learn more.

Senior nutrition lunches at the San Moritz Lodge are served every Tuesday and Thursday at noon. You do not need to be a member to attend. The age threshold is a little higher here – lunches are free for those 60 and over. A $3 suggested contribution is appreciated to help pay for things not covered by their funding.

At the end of January, the club leadership met to plan events and activities for the coming year.

There’s a lot still left to be determined, but 2024 will see some new and exciting offerings. Stay tuned!

Since 1959, the Crest Forest Senior Citizens’ Club has offered social, educational and life-enriching activities to seniors in the mountain communities aged 50+.

Their clubhouse, Leisure Shores, is located at 24658 San Moritz Drive, near the meadow in front of the San Moritz Lodge.

Please note that there are well over 300 members, but only 32 spaces in their small parking lot. For this reason, their lot has restricted parking and non-members run the risk of a ticket if parked there.

For more information contact the office at (909) 338-5036. Visit their website at crestlineseniorcitizens.org and their Facebook page: Facebook.com/crestforestseniors.
