CRL (Death Investigation) S State Hwy 138/Crestline Ctf – Five search and rescue members searching – Team 1 located set of Toyota keys, location flagged – Team 1 located black fanny pack, location flagged – K9 en route – SAR team located dead body – body requires extraction – body extracted – 55-year-old white male adult found by SAR in wooded area – found at 1:27 p.m. by SAR – missing person report on 1/19/24 – last seen last Sunday – reported seen yesterday walking in area – deputies found abandoned vehicle approximately 600 feet away – found in brushy forest area – only in pants – no obvious effects/significant trauma – no alcohol/drugs found near body or in vehicle – no history of alcohol or drugs – vape daily – medical history of high blood pressure – history of depression but no suicidal thoughts/attempts – is veteran and has PTSD and anxiety – no suspicious circumstances – daughter notified
CED (Warrant Arrest) Lilac Way – Couple RP used to live with has been telling lies about RP – has been ongoing for two years – RP hard to get information from – requesting to speak with deputy – suspect contacted during call for service – warrant arrest – booked at CDC
TPK (Possible Dangerous Drugs) Boulder Ln – During surveillance of a known drug house, deputy saw Hispanic male adult outside the residence – deputy recognized subject who he confirmed earlier in the morning had a warrant – deputy initiated traffic stop on subject for no front plate and his confirmed warrant – subject admitted to deputy he had paraphernalia and possible narcotics – during a search of subject’s vehicle, deputy located a plastic baggy with a usable amount of a white crystalline substance which deputy believed to be methamphetamine – subject also admitted he thought he had “black” in the vehicle but realized he left it at his residence – deputy also located a glass pipe with white and brown residue in it – subject was issued a citation and was released – ongoing investigation for residence
CRL (Grand Theft) Dorn Dr – RP hired a contractor who they now believe is fraudulent – RP can see via camera there are two subjects on the property – will be Hispanic female adult and Hispanic male adult – they arrived in a black/brown SUV – unable to see plate – RP can see subjects moving center blocks – unknown where they are moving blocks to – RP advised subjects are allowed on property to do work – RP is unsure if they are working or taking material from location – total amount paid for work is $35,800.00 – RP estimated time of arrival is 45 minutes to location – will be in a black Ford Explorer

CRL (Warrant Arrest) N State Hwy 138 – CHP transfer – RP requesting keeping the peace while trying to get her belongings from ex roommate – roommate is known to use meth and be drunk – negative weapons – RP will be waiting outside on the porch in a black hooded sweatshirt – contacted suspect at incident location for keeping the peace – suspect had two active misdemeanor warrants and was arrested
ARB (Domestic Battery) Chipmunk Ln – Suspect and victim were in a dating relationship – during an argument, suspect punched victim multiple times in the face – victim complained of pain to his face – suspect arrested and booked at CDC
BLU (Miscellaneous Incident) State Hwy 189 – On 1/23/24 subject informed other students his family had a firearm and he would bring it to school to show his friends – subject did not make any threats and informed deputy he was just joking – deputy spoke with mother who stated she would be available to speak at her residence at about 6:00 p.m. – deputy will follow up when mother returns from work
LAA (False Pretense) Zermatt Dr – RP needed new heating/AC unit at her Lake Arrowhead cabin – RP reached out to her homeowners insurance – they have provided a recommendation of a contractor from Booth Construction – RP contacted subject and he came out to look at the system on 10/5/23 – he provided a quote of $11,752.00 but needed half of the payment upfront to purchase the equipment needed – RP sent him $5,876.00 by wire transfer on 10/18/23 – on 11/14/23 RP and subject set up a date for him to install the heater/AC unit – subject did not make it and made arrangements for 12/2/23 and has yet to come out – RP has contacted him via text several times and has not heard from him – RP was able to obtain his home phone number and his mother answered – mother stated he was not home, that he was going through a break-up and just needed time to “lick his wounds” – RP has not heard from him since and has learned he is not a licensed contractor – subject was using someone else’s contract number that has the same name as him – RP reached out to him and learned he is out of San Diego and has filed several claims with the state contracting board and police departments – RP is in the process of sending over all documents, text conversations, etc. for the report
TPK (Warrant Arrest) North Rd/Grandview Rd – Suspect was arrested on her warrant and booked at CDC
RSP (Elderly Abuse) All View Dr – Suspect and mother live together at the incident location – mother is the 68-year-old adopted mother of suspect – suspect pushed mother to the ground and then proceeded to assault her by punching and kicking her several times – suspect is upset mother did not give him a ride to get more alcohol – suspect was arrested and booked at CDC for felony elder abuse
LAA (Disturbed Husband/Wife) Lucerne Ln/North Bay Rd – Deputy contacted subjects on Lucerne Ln – both drunk and declined meds – female fell during an argument over relationship issues and bled from the inside of her lip with no signs of an assault from another person – both agreed fight was verbal only – male stayed at the residence while friends drove female down the mountain – RP advised and remained anonymous – report taken for documentation

BLU (Assault with Weapon) State Hwy 189 – Victim and subject have been in an on and off relationship for five years – victim arrived at subject’s residence, opened the door to the building – subject punched the victim multiple times in the face – an unknown female inside the building fired one round at the victim – subject missed the victim and struck the residence and the unknown female fled the scene – ongoing investigation
CRL (Warrant Arrest) 7-Eleven Store – Subject contacted near 7-Eleven matching suspect description – suspect was not in possession of a firearm but had a crossbow style launcher in his backpack – weapon threat unfounded – suspect was arrested for his warrants and citation released at St. Bernadine’s hospital – teletype entered
CRL (Death Investigation) Friendly Ln – 70-year-old was found deceased inside her residence – she passed away from unknown causes

CRL (Psyche Investigation/Evaluation) Delle Dr – Deputy contacted subject at his residence – subject believed unknown subjects were under his house and damaging the structural integrity in an attempt to make the house collapse on him – build-up of residence checked and no signs of any subjects there – subject stated he wanted to kill himself and had a plan – subject placed on 5150 hold and transported to ARMCBH
TPK (Psyche Intervention) Boulder Ln – Subject was upset due to her doctor discontinuing a medication which she felt was helping her with her anxiety – subject did not want to hurt herself – her boyfriend was home with her as her support system – subject was open to recommended help from test team – subject did not meet requirements for 5150
LAA (Shoplifting) Stater Bros – Two black females entered the store and grabbed sushi and orange juice and left the store without paying – one of the females left her debit card behind – investigation ongoing

LAA (Death Investigation) Evergreen Ln – 35-year-old male with unknown meds – alcoholic 10 years – no illicit drugs found – family notified – no trauma – transported to coroner’s office
RIM (Drunk in Public) Pine Ave – Suspect was drinking all day and was given a ride by a friend of his family – suspect and subject were in a physical fight – on deputies’ initial contact, subject calmed down and got back in vehicle to continue ride – suspect and subject became physical again – subject was calm and left suspect at Valero gas station – deputies contacted suspect at the Valero and he was still intoxicated – suspect had extremely slurred speech was unsteady on his feet and had no way to get home – when suspect became agitated during contact he was placed under arrest and transported to CDC for booking
CRL (Possible Controlled Substance) Lake Dr/Springwater Rd – Suspect was contacted during consensual encounter – suspect was found to be in possession of about one gram of suspected methamphetamine – suspect also had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for his arrest – warrant had a $25,000.00 bail – suspect was transported and booked at CDC
CRL (Violation of Court Order) Finhaut Dr – Subject one and subject two have a served restraining order against subject three – on 1/4/24 subject three was seen on subjects one’s property approximately five feet away from their door – both protected persons confirmed the person in the video was subject three and states they are familiar with his voice – deputy was provided video of the incident and other possible restraining order violations – subject three has a no contact order and a stay away order of 25 feet from subject one and subject two and their residence
CRL (Petty Theft) Valley View Dr – Sometime yesterday RP misplaced her cellphone when she placed it on her car hood and drove away – today RP was able to cancel fraudulent transactions done on her phone – subjects who stole her phone updated delivery address, known drug house – deputy knocked on the residence and no one answered – as of this call RP had no loss of funds from bank account – cell was an Android Galaxy 14, retail value $200.00
LAA (Death Investigation) Evergreen Ln – Subject located deceased on the floor in his bedroom in recovery position – per RP and ex-wife, no medical conditions other than he was a heavy drinker and would go on four to five-day binges of drinking all day
CRL (Paraphernalia) Crest Forest Dr/Lakeview Dr – Deputy contacted subject on pedestrian check – deputy knew subject to be on felony probation – during a search of his person, deputy located a glass pipe with white and black residue inside his left front pocket – subject was citation released in the field
CRL (Driving with Suspended/Revoked License) Lake Dr/Springwater Rd – Vehicle driving with expired registration by almost four months – driver found to be driving on a suspended license and did not have current insurance – driver cited for all of the above and the vehicle was released to the licensed passenger
CRL (Driving without License) Lake Dr/State Hwy 138 – Vehicle did not stop at posted stop sign at State Hwy 138/Crest Forest – driver was found to be unlicensed – driver cited

BLU (Drunk in Public) Elmwood Dr – Suspect found by homeowner on rear deck of residence – suspect was drunk and admitted was unable to provide phone number or location of friends to release to and was arrested – booked at CDC without incident
LAA (Vandalism) Rhine Rd – between 1/27/24 at approximately 11:00 p.m. and 1/28/24 at 8:30 a.m. an unknown subject broke passenger window – RP confirmed nothing within the vehicle was missing or moved – checked surveillance from water treatment plant across the street – video was negative on incident – estimated repair cost was $450.00 – no additional leads
LAA (Attempted Petty Theft) Matterhorn Dr – Unknown subject looked into two vehicles on the property and tried to open the door – entry was not made – nothing stolen – incident captured on video – report taken for documentation
LAA (Petty Theft) Matterhorn Dr – RP’s black Toyota Highlander was broken into and stolen from – occurred sometime last night – unknown how vehicle was accessed – two iPads missing and $150.00 cash – RP renting Airbnb at location
CRL (Animal Problem) Calanda Dr – On 1/28/24 at approximately 1:30 p.m. subject one was outside a residence he was in the process of purchasing – while outside, subject two was with his dog on a walk – the two talked about the residence – during the conversation the dog bit subject one without warning – the dog was on a leash and had a harness on – subject one states subject two helped remove the dog – the dog bit him once – a report was desired
LAA (Petty Theft) Matterhorn Dr – Unknown subject(s) took leatherbound checkbook from inside RP’s vehicle – no video surveillance at this time – possibly related to previous calls today – neighbors working on video surveillance – subject possibly identified from other calls
CRL (Violation of Court Order) Dorn Dr – RP states ex is refusing to produce their son from location – per court order they were supposed to meet at station at 8:00 p.m. – female sent message via talking parents appointment to RP saying she would not be able to produce juvenile and told RP to take them to school in San Bernardino tomorrow
CRL (Domestic Battery) High Rd – Suspect and her boyfriend (V1) were involved in an argument over the status of their relationship – suspect and V1 have been in a dating relationship for three years and recently broke up – the argument turned physical when subject struck V1 several times in the face and head – V1 had to restrain suspect to keep from being assaulted – V1 released suspect from being restrained – suspect struck V1 several more times in the face and head – V1 had to restrain suspect again to keep from being assaulted – suspect admitted to striking V1 several times in the face and head – V1 did not sustain any visible injuries from the assault
CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) Shady Ln – Two males knew each other from playing Xbox online and had argued for approximately two months – the two males agreed to meet and fight to settle a dispute – males met up in Crestline and fought into the street – during the fight the males rolled down a hill and one of the males hit his head and needed to be transported to the hospital by fire – males interviewed
