Rimforest man arrested for maintaining/operating drug house

Investigators from the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station conducted an extensive investigation regarding drug activity at a residence located on the 26000 Block of Highway 18, in Rimforest.

On Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, investigators authored and served a search warrant at the residence. During the warrant service, deputies located drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, fentanyl, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, cash in various denominations and a firearm.

Rimforest resident Dennis Freund, 60, was arrested for HS 11370.1 (possession of drugs while armed) and HS 11366 (maintaining/operating a drug house). Freund was booked at Central Detention Center.
